Terms & Conditions

Snider & Fjordholm
Last Updated: February 2026

Welcome to Snider & Fjordholm. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, as well as the photography and videography services we provide. By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, entering into a service agreement, or booking services with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Use of Website

The content on this website is provided for informational, promotional, and portfolio purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, or exploit any content—including images, video, text, branding, or layout—without prior written consent from Snider & Fjordholm.

Unauthorized use of this website or its content may result in legal action under applicable state and federal laws.

2. Inquiries, Bookings & Payments

All photography and videography services require:

  • A signed service agreement or contract
  • A non-refundable retainer to secure the requested date

No date is considered reserved until both the signed agreement and retainer are received.

Full payment terms, deliverables, scope of work, licensing rights, and timelines are defined in the individual service agreement provided to each client. Additional services requested beyond the agreed scope may require a separate agreement and additional fees.

3. Retainers, Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Retainers are non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Clients may request to reschedule with a minimum of 7 days’ written notice, subject to availability.
  • Rescheduling may be limited to one occurrence per booking unless otherwise approved in writing.
  • Client-initiated cancellations result in forfeiture of the retainer and may require additional payment depending on timing, as outlined in the service agreement.

If Snider & Fjordholm must cancel due to illness, emergency, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, the client will be offered:

  • A full refund of all payments made, or
  • The option to reschedule at a mutually agreed-upon date

This shall be the client’s sole remedy.

4. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

All photographs, video footage, edits, and creative works produced by Snider & Fjordholm are the exclusive intellectual property of Snider & Fjordholm unless otherwise stated in writing.

Clients receive a limited, non-transferable usage license as outlined in their signed service agreement. Licensing terms vary based on personal or commercial use.

Unless explicitly licensed or purchased:

  • Raw files are never delivered
  • Copyright ownership is not transferred
  • Content may not be sold, altered, sublicensed, or redistributed

Snider & Fjordholm reserves the right to use completed work for portfolio display, marketing, social media, website content, and promotional materials unless a written exclusivity or non-disclosure agreement is in place.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during the planning and intake process
  • Obtain required permits, permissions, and access for shoot locations
  • Ensure participants are prepared and available at scheduled times

Delays, missed sessions, or lack of preparedness may result in reduced coverage or additional fees. Snider & Fjordholm is not responsible for compromised results due to factors outside our control.

6. Creative Style & Artistic Discretion

By booking services, clients acknowledge familiarity with Snider & Fjordholm’s portfolio, editing style, and cinematic approach. Artistic judgment, storytelling, composition, and post-production decisions are made at the sole discretion of Snider & Fjordholm.

Requests for revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional fees.

7. Turnaround Times & Delivery

Estimated delivery timelines for final edited images and/or videos are provided in the service agreement. All timelines are estimates and may vary due to project scope, production complexity, or seasonal volume.

Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee and must be approved in writing.
